Among our core values, 'Celebration of women' holds a special place at Linearity. In shaping our design narrative, we turned to mythology, believing that fashion resonates most powerfully when guided by purpose and illuminated through storytelling. Our inspiration stems from the ancient mythological Goddess Nav Durga and the potent qualities she embodies-qualities that represent a fully empowered feminine energy. In Sanskrit, "Nav" translates to "nine," and "Durga" means "the invincible."

Each aspect of Nav Durga highlights a unique facet of womanhood, illustrating the myriad roles and qualities women embody. Collectively, they present women as strong, wise, nurturing, creative, courageous, and resilient-vital contributors to both society and life itself.

Lole specifically draws from Shailaputri, the first form of NavDurga-the daughter of the mountains. She is the young Durga: innocent yet unshakeable, symbolizing the quiet, foundational strength that allows a woman to stand firm, no matter how steep the climb. To bring her spirit into form, we looked to nature’s own metaphor for resilience: the lotus leaf. It grows from muddy waters yet remains untouched, its surface naturally repelling every droplet. Our Spanish artisans hand-sculpted Lole’s silhouette to echo the gentle curve of the lotus leaf, using custom moulds and tools to create a shape that feels both organic and architectural.

Onda is inspired by Bhramacharini, the second form of NavDurga. She is the devoted seeker-focused, disciplined and pure in thought and action—embodying a woman’s commitment to learning, self-discovery, and inner clarity. In our design studio, we saw her reflection in water: the purest of the five elements, essential to life and known for its power to cleanse and renew. Onda-Spanish for “wave”- is crafted to mirror the soft rise and fall of waves, capturing the way women navigate life’s highs and lows with grace and quiet strength. Its flowing lines are the result of intentional sculpting, where our artisans shaped the next-gen material to feel like water frozen in motion. Here too, mythology and nature meet: one gifting us enduring stories, the other gifting us enduring forms. No matter how far humanity reaches into the future, we look back to these roots to remember that knowledge, much like water, is limitless and ever-flowing.

We celebrate real women who truly inspire Linearity by embodying the nine virtues of Nav Durga in the modern world. These amazing icons are ordinary people who surmounted enormous obstacles to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many people.

This started as a brainchild of the Linearity Gen Z co-founder who wanted to provide a forum to showcase their life stories to the entire world.

• Wipe clean only. Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth with mild, pH-neutral soap if needed. Air dry naturally.
• Act fast on spills. Blot (don’t rub) spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth to prevent stains.
• No harsh chemicals or machines. Avoid solvents, bleach, detergents, alcohol, acetone, ammonia, oils, polish, or varnish.
• Do not machine wash, iron, or bleach.
• Do not rub with dark colored cloth to avoid bleeding into the bag.
• Protect from damage. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, ink, dye, permanent markers, and prolonged moisture.
• Store smart. Store at room temperature in a dry place. For long-term storage, include silica gel sachets in dust bag.
• Professional care. Test any protective spray on a hidden area first.

Our bags are water-resistant to everyday splashes and light rain, but not 100% waterproof. The plant-based material we use have natural water-repellent properties augmented with protective coatings that prevent water from immediately soaking in. Overall, our bags are designed to be resilient in normal use conditions – rain and spills should not cause stains or damage when cared for promptly.

Our handbags feature Viridis Leather Italy (corn/wheat-based), Lebiu (cork-based), and Leap (apple waste-based) bio-based innovative materials, combined with recycled linings for increased sustainability. These materials showcase significant improvement to traditional animal leather and even PU based leather in categories such as CO2 emissions (85% lesser), 1% of water use (compared to animal leather), no tanning chemicals, while reducing food waste pollution.

Yes – absolutely. Every Linearity product is 100% vegan and cruelty-free, meaning no animal-derived materials are used anywhere in our bags. This includes not only the outer “leather”, but also all other components. Our linings are cotton (not silk or wool), our glues and dyes are chosen to be free of animal by-products, and even the packaging we use is typically paper-based or recycled, avoiding any animal ingredients.

Every Linearity bag is lined with 100% natural cotton fabric. We chose cotton lining because it’s sustainable, biodegradable, and free of synthetic plastics – plus it has a soft, premium feel inside the bag.

We chose plant-based materials because they allow us to create luxury products without harming animals or the environment. Traditional animal leather production is linked to significant sustainability issues – it drives deforestation, consumes huge amounts of water, and produces high greenhouse gas emissions. By using these Bio-innovative materials, Linearity avoids supporting animal agriculture (which is responsible for ~14.5% of global emissions) and eliminates the toxic tanning chemicals associated with leather. Our mission is to unite ethics and aesthetics, so we’ve carefully selected materials that offer the quality and durability of leather without the cruelty or heavy environmental cost.

Yes, our bags are designed to look and feel luxurious, very much akin to real leather. One of our goals in selecting the material was to ensure that we don’t compromise on aesthetics or touch.

Linearity store accepts the following payment methods: Major Credit cards (AMEX, Visa, Mastercard, Discover), Paypal, Bancontact, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shopify Payments

Our site is powered by Shopify and the payment gateway is through Shopify. We do not have access to even view your credit card details. It is all handled by Shopify which is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant.

Shopify provides multiple layers of security including SSL certificates for stores like Linearity, Level 1 PCI DSS compliance, 3D secure, and Network security. You can access the Shopify PCI and SOC reports here .

First time customers will be provided with an one-time/ single use 10% discount of their fully paid order when they sign up for our newsletter.

Orders are processed when the full payment is made. The bags are shipped on first ordered, first serve basis.

For all deliveries in US, we leverage FebEx, UPS, and USPS. All international shipments are done through DHL Express.

We ship to most Worldwide locations. Address restrictions might apply. Refer to our shipping policy for more details.

Orders are typically shipped within 48 hours (two business days), excluding weekends and holidays.

If the delivery address is in USA, then you do not have to pay any extra taxes or duties. All shipments from Linearity within USA is Delivery Duty Paid mode.

If the delivery address is outside of USA, your country might charge import, VAT, or customs fees. All shipments from Linearity to Outside of USA is Delivery Duty Unpaid mode, meaning Customs and duty charges are not included in your order and you are responsible for it at the time of delivery.

Some of our bags are made on 'limited edition' basis or do sell out rather quickly. If interested, click on 'notify me' option and provide us an email address to contact you as soon as the bag is back in stock.

Pre-order likely shipping dates will be shown in the Product Page itself. You can add the product to the cart and pay for it as any other available product.

If the product is delayed beyond the promised shipping date, you will be provided an option to cancel the order and process a refund.

Normal shipping delivery times will still apply.

We have a 30-day return policy. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused or unwashed, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Click the 'Start a Return' link and submit your order # and email information. You can also use your phone number or postal code along with your order #. Select the order you want to return and select a reason for the return. You can review all the information before you submit the return request.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as the shipping. instructions to send the item back. The cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

We do not offer exchanges. You can return the original purchase through the return's process, and place a new order for the requested item.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
